Bears of Comfort & Sewandsoaps

Bears of comfort and Sewandsoaps are two companies working in conjunction with each other, to better the emotional status of many people, for many reasons.

Bears of Comfort provides memorial products (bears, pillows, and blankets)as well as listening/counseling services to a vast number of people having experienced the loss of a pregnancy, the stillbirth of a newborn, the death of a child, or just death in general, being loss of a friend or family member. The items Bears of Comfort sells are personalized and embroidered to the customer's whim.

Sewandsoaps provides a very similar service to the general population for any event or celebration. They don't just personalize their items to commemorate babyloss, but also offer personalizations for birthday, wedding, anniversary, or completely custom embroidery on their products, such as a "World's Greatest Grandma", or as an appreciation gift to a teacher.

These two companies strive to make their customers completely happy with their purchases, commemorating any event in their lives.

My experience with these two companies came about during a conversation with a friend as a member of the babyloss community. Six of my children have been lost due to spontaneous abortion, otherwise known as miscarriage. I found out about Bears of Comfort from talking to this friend about her decision to take her Angel Bear to the hospital when she delivers her Rainbow Baby. (An Angel is the term used for a child no longer on earth, a Rainbow is a child born after a tragic loss of another pregnancy.) When I had mentioned that I did not know about Angel Bears, nor did I have one of my own, she was very quick to provide me with information on how to acquire one of my own, thereby leading me to Bears of Comfort.

Bears of Comfort and Sewandsoaps are both located on Facebook. I left a message on the Bears of Comfort wall, asking for someone to please contact me with information on their bears, and was promptly issued a reply from Tanya Cray, and associate of theirs. I explained to her my situation, and my experiences with babyloss, and she was very quick to ask if I had any ideas already on how I would like my bear customized. The details were very quickly and efficiently worked out, and customized exactly the way I wanted. Because I have had six miscarriages, and could only choose one bear to represent all of my Angels, I decided to have "Angel Babies" embroidered on my bear's shirt, alternating in pink and blue thread, accompanied by 6 stars, three on either side, also alternating pink and blue, because I had lost each one before discovering the gender. I still felt this was the best way to represent my Angel children.

Bears of Comfort, Sewandsoaps, and Tanya Cray all worked dilligently to get my bear to me as quickly as possible. Even though they're located in the United Kingdom, my bear arrived expediently. More so than I had expected, in fact! I was even provided with a picture of my bear, wearing his embroidered shirt before he was shipped, so that I could be sure that was how I wanted him to look, and so that I knew what to expect in the mail. I was most pleased with the work done by Bears of Comfort and Sewandsoaps, and with how quickly my bear had arrived at my home.

I have recommended both Bears of Comfort and Sewandsoaps to friends, family, and will continue to do so whenever I find someone looking for personalized gifts, or new to the babyloss community.

Thank you, Bears of Comfort & Sewandsoaps from the bottom of my heart.

Bears of Comfort does accept donations to put towards bears who are requested by families that can't afford one. Please feel free to stop by their page and have a look around!

Is*A*Joy Designs

Is*a*joy designs is owned and operated by Ms. Melissa Caldeira. She designs doll clothes, bow style hair barrettes, as well as other style head pieces, and "upcycled" clothing for children. I recently had the opportunity to sample one of her creations. I won a doll dress from one of her giveaways. Her communications after the giveaway were very prompt, 100% polite, and catered to any want or need I might have had. She is very willing to work with her customers to provide them with exactly what they want, when it comes to her products. She strives to make her customers as happy as possible, so they will continue to purchase her items.

The doll dress I had won, she was asked to make it as "universal" as possible, being that my daughter likes to make her dolls and stuffed animals "share" their clothes. It was perfect. It was a flower design, with dragon flies and butterflies. The dress ties on the shoulders, like a summer dress for a child. I am extremely pleased with the way she took my wishes to heart when creating this dress! And as an added bonus, Ms. Caldeira included a free bow barrette attached to her business card. I'm saving the bow until I know whether or not the child I am expecting is a boy or a girl, and then I will decide who gets it, but it is an absolutely ADORABLE green and yellow bow with purple accents.

I would recommend (and have recommended) Is*a*joy Designs to anyone with children, or that is shopping for children's gifts. Is*a*joy Designs is very well run, very expedient with processing and shipping, and an all around excellent company!

Product Testing and Reviews

Let me introduce myself. I am Robyn Gordon, I am a 27 year old stay at home mother of two children. My daughter, Skyler, is 5 years old, and I am expecting, the baby is due November 3rd, 2011. I have been researching ways to keep myself occupied, while still helping people out and benefitting myself, and came across the opportunity for product testing and reviews. Perfect for a "stay at home-er", like myself, and a mother of small children. I can be with my children when they need me, rather than on some working schedule, where my children feel like they're competing with my job.

I am very pleased to have found this opportunity, and I look forward to being able to test your company's products, and offer a well written, understandable, review. I know that what I write about your product will impact many people, and potentially be the decision-maker for whether or not your product is bought by friends, family, and others reading my blog.
